ABOUT CANNELLA
We named our shop and café Cannella, the Italian word for cinnamon, as a nod to Mount Cinnamon and a celebration of the spice’s warmth and richness, evoking both the flavors of our heritage and the elegance of Mount Cinnamon’s Italian architecture.

Ayana B Joy
Ayana B. Joy is a glass flame-work artist creating ocean and tropical inspired glass jewelry that incorporates eco-friendly materials.
She creates sculptural jewelry incorporating seashells, flora, and organic beads for her coastal-inspired collection. She splits her time between the Urban Glass Studio in Brooklyn, NY, and crafting her work in her home in Grenada, West Indies.

Modestine® is a tea and wellness brand inspired by ancestral healing and rich Caribbean traditions, honoring the legacy of women, particularly Grandma, Modestine.
Each blend supports women through transitions like perimenopause, helping them reconnect with their divine rhythm.

Bohemia Grenada is a sustainable fashion brand inspired by a decade of life on idyllic islands. Combining elegance and eco-consciousness, Bohemia offers chic, handcrafted pieces made from natural fabrics, dyed using organic methods, and adorned with unique accessories crafted from seashells and coconut.
OMI
OMI is all-natural skincare that works- Handmade with love on the tropical island of Grenada. Inspired by the need for skincare safe enough for a baby to eat, we formulate with only Mother Earth’s ingredients to create pure, gentle, and effective skincare to support your daily self-love rituals. Omi products are packaged in reusable vessels because we love our planet.

Take home Grenadian brands, the holiday bag is curated by the Council on Sustainable Fashion and Design of Grenada, a local non-profit organization. The holiday gift basg consists of a handmade glass cocoa pod ornament by jewelry artist Ayana B Joy, a loose leaf Cozy Chai tea by Modestine, a beeswax chapstick from Isle Bee Well, and a lavender infused body oil by OMI.

Shannen-Kaylia Henry is the Founder of the Council on Sustainable Fashion and Design of Grenada (CSFDG) and the curator of Cannella, The Shop by CSFDG.
CSFDG serves as the social impact arm of Kaylia Group, a sustainable fashion ecosystem dedicated to decarbonizing and decentralizing the global fashion value chain.
